Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the synos.in website and any freely available materials on it. They are published by SynOS Labs LLP, Varthur, Gunjur, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560087, India.
Important: scope
These are website terms. Use of the SynOS software, whether self-hosted, managed, evaluated or in production, is governed by a separate signed agreement between you and SynOS Labs LLP, such as a services agreement, evaluation agreement or licence.
Where these website terms conflict with a signed agreement covering the same subject matter, the signed agreement prevails.
1. Acceptance
By accessing this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
2. Permitted use
You may view, download and share the content on this site for your own evaluation and internal business purposes. You may not:
- copy, republish or resell the content as your own, or remove attribution;
- use the site to build a competing offering, or scrape it at a volume that degrades service for others;
- probe, scan or test the security of the site except as permitted under the responsible-disclosure terms on our Security page;
- submit unlawful, infringing or deliberately misleading information through our forms;
- use the site in breach of applicable law or export controls.
3. Forms and communications
When you submit an early-access request, complete the scorecard or book a demo, you confirm that the details you give are accurate and that you are authorised to provide them. You agree that we may reply to you about your enquiry. How we handle those details is set out in our Privacy Policy.
4. Intellectual property
The site, its content, the SynOS name and logo, and all associated intellectual property are owned by SynOS Labs LLP or its licensors. No licence to any intellectual property is granted by these terms except the limited permission to view and share content described in section 2. Any rights in the SynOS software are granted only under a separate signed agreement.
5. Feedback
If you send us suggestions or feedback about SynOS, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it without obligation to you. We will not identify you as the source without your permission.
6. Third-party links and services
This site links to third-party services including a calendar booking tool, a newsletter, and social profiles. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.
7. Product statements
Descriptions of SynOS capabilities on this site are provided for information. Product functionality evolves, and statements about planned capability are not commitments. Binding commitments about what the software does are made only in a signed agreement.
8. No warranty
The website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in this section limits any warranty given in a signed agreement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SynOS Labs LLP is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of this website. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to this website is limited to INR 10,000 (ten thousand rupees). Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Liability arising under a signed agreement is governed by that agreement, not this section.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify SynOS Labs LLP against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms or your unlawful use of the site.
11. Suspension
We may restrict or withdraw access to the site, in whole or in part, at any time, including where use breaches these terms.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without prejudice to any dispute-resolution mechanism agreed in a signed agreement.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
